The Ocean Song Cottages at Grayland on the coast of Washington State have always been a favorite of beach goers. Now they have become members of the Goldener Resorts network and updated for guest comfort and enjoyment.
"Our family has loved the Westport area for years and acquired the cottages so we could spend more time there," said Preman Bajra one of the family members. "We have now been updating our traditional beach cottages and wanted to reach a wider audience of visitors using Goldener to market and operate the property."
Located eight miles south to Westport, the fishing capital of Washington State, the beaches of Grayland stretch North South and feature lovely golden dunes and wide sandy areas where visitors can even drive their cars.
There are five rustic beach cottages at Ocean Song with names that conjure up long sunny days in summer and glorious tangy clean air year round. You can stay in cottages with names like the Friendly Orca, Great Gray or Slippery Seal (each has a story).
The cottages offer modern amenities but the charm and warmth of yesterday have been retained. Each is a complete home with bedroom, bath, kitchen and living area. All are tastefully furnished with quality linen's, all kitchen and dining utensils, televisions with DVD players.
There is easy parking and plenty of room for children to run and play in the dunes. The resort fronts the ocean which is reached by a short walk through the dunes.
The resort offers a barbecue area, fire pit and is very pet friendly. Located equidistant between Westport and the village of Tokeland, visitors find much to see and do in the area.
Goldener employees in the area provide all housekeeping, maintenance and customer services. "In a way its like having your own private staff to make your stay enjoyable," says Lu Ann Kolten owner of Beachy Day Vacation Rentals and onsite manager at Ocean Song.
Many guests come for the variety of things to do in the area, but Ocean Song is also prized for its kid-friendly, pet-friendly facilities. Having fun is simply required here.
William May, president of Vortex Managers which operates Goldener Resorts who grew up in the area adds, "Beaches and fishing have been the traditional draw in this area. But there are nice shops, shops, a variety of restaurants and fun events throughout the year. If you haven't been to Rusty Scupper Pirate Daze you've missed out on boisterous laughter and great fun."
